2023 Farm to Print Series

During the 2023 Growing season, we worked with four local flower farms in the Denver, Colorado Area to create original pressed flower art using flowers from each of these farms. The five farms we worked with were Artemis Flower Farm in Longmont, Plume and Furrow in Lyons, Red Daisy in Brighton, Blossom and Branch in Lakewood, and Little Hollow in Berthoud.  

We traveled to the farms throughout the spring, summer, and fall which created these pieces of art showcasing their flower variety through the season.  When it comes to local flower farms, I urge you to support them. The people that operate these farms are humble and work their butts off to produce these beauties. You can always inquire as to whether they have CSA (community supported agriculture), a retail shop, or if they attend your local farmers market.

I will leave you with this statement I found on Little Hollow's site; “We were surprised to learn that nearly 80 percent of fresh flowers sold in the United States and Canada are not grown in North America.” Buying from your local farm is best.
