For those looking for something a bit less traditional. This style works best for bouquets that have a lot of variety and color. If you like this style, but your bouquet lacks sufficient variety, we can supplement your bouquet with our own inventory of pressed flowers. We only add flowers that match the vibe of your bouquet. This framing technique is much more complicated than our traditional floating glass method and requires more labor and materials.
We work with you to choose the best paper color, matboard color, and frame choice that will work together to best compliment your flowers.
We use fine printmaking paper which is mouldmade in France and has a smooth, absorbent surface. It is made of 100% cotton and is acid-free. 280 gsm.
Available in landscape or portrait orientation, though most people gravitate towards portrait orientation.
***Please note, we reserve the right to use the overall design image from deconstructed pieces for commercial use such as prints, fabric, etc. We add many of our own pressed flowers in these pieces as a wedding bouquet does have some constraints (size and variety). We need small, medium, and large blooms, tiny ones to fill in spaces, wavy stems, other colors, etc. to make a finished piece. This is where we supplement some of ours into the piece. Flowers we do incorporate from our own will go with your original flower color scheme. In cases that we decide to use the design, we will take the piece to a professional high res image service local to Denver, and create the image. You would also receive a print of the same size frame that you order for your original. This way if you like, you can hang them side by side (original and print) and watch the original change over time but also have the reminder of the original colors next to it. Please ask us questions about this when you contact us.
